The #10 Brenau tennis team (11-11) was surprised in the opening match of the NAIA Region 13 Tennis Tournament by #25 Shorter (13-7) and lost 6-3. Jolene Wong and Diana Cardenas were double winners for the Tigers as they teamed up to win their doubles match 8-5 and each came back to win in singles, as well. Wong defeated Ratsaraefadahy 6-3, 6-2 and Cardenas won over Luconi 6-3, 7-5. Brenau will now await an invitation to the NAIA National Championships.
