Brenau's volleyball season ended at the SSAC tournament on Friday with a loss to Reinhardt, (13-30, 21-30, and 22-30). That was the second loss for the Tigers and thus eliminated them from the tournament. A loss to #1 seed Lee University on Thursday (17-30, 19-30 and 12-30) placed Brenau in the loser's bracket. Audra VanArsdale was the lone player to earn all-conference honors by making the second team, as announced at the conference banquet on Friday. Brenau finishes their season with a 6-27 overall record. Coach Meredith Matthews said that the experience of playing in the conference tournament for the first time was a learning one and she expects vast improvement for next year. "We plan to make playing in the conference tournament a tradition," she said.
