Southern Wesleyan (10-5, 3-1) won today's volleyball match with Brenau (4-6, 0-6)on their home court by scores of 25-22, 25-12, 22-25 and 25-20. It was the Tiger's sixth straight loss in the conference, but they showed signs of improvement playing three close games with the host team. Junior setter Audra VanArsdale (7 kills, 19 assists, 1 ace and 15 digs) played very well, as did Sophomore hitter Courtney Frady (10 kills, 1 ace, 13 digs and two blocks). Also turning in solid efforts were Junior hitter Karen Green (10 kills, 14 digs and two blocks) and Freshman hitter Alexis Arthur (3 kills, an assist, 2 digs and 2 blocks). Sophomore Meredith Hardin (4 kills and 7 blocks) and Freshmen Kelsey Aley (8 blocks) and Kerry Abernathy (7 assists) also contributed. Next up for the Tigers will be a home match on Tuesday against league leading Berry.
