The Tigers swimming team traveled to the University of the South in Suwanee this weekend and finished sixth of the ten teams and 200 swimmers in the competition. Freshman Lindsay Duprey, from Warner Robins, led the way for Brenau with a 1st place finish in the 200 freestyle. She also recorded two second places in the 100 freestyle and 50 butterfly. Melissa Bofto, another freshman from Warner Robins, gathered two 3rd place finishes in the 200 breaststroke and 100 butterfly. Ali Shaw finished 3rd in the 50 freestyle, 6th in the 100 breaststroke, and 8th in the 200 backstroke. Sarah Fell finished 6th in the 500 freestyle and 200 breaststroke. The 200 freestyle relay team of Bofto, Fell, Shaw and Duprey finished 3rd. The meet was won by Cumberland, KY.
