Berry College (5-0, 10-7), the top team in the SSAC were just too much for the Brenau Golden Tigers (0-7, 4-7) tonight in Gainesville, winning in three straight (25-20, 25-16, and 25-12). Brenau actually led in the first two games at the midway point only to see Berry pull away for the win. Freshman Alexis Arthur continued to impress with six kills, 1 ace, 5 digs and two blocks. Others who played well for the Tigers were Junior Audra VanArsdale (5 kills, 7 assists, 3 digs), Kerry Abernathy (8 assists and 2 digs), Courtney Frady (4 kills, 1 assist, 7 digs and a block), Karen Green (3 kills, 3 assists, 1 ace and 3 blocks), and Meredith Hardin (2 kills and 6 blocks).
