Channel 2 brings high school football action to fans all over North Georgia with Sports Zone Friday and All Access. Channel 2’s Chuck Dowdle and Bill Hartman host this game day event which features live coverage and highlights from high schools around the state.

“AT&T Sports Zone Friday brings local high school game day excitement to TV, online and on your cell phone,” said Sports Director Chuck Dowdle. “Over the season, I will cover 11 hand-picked big games in our coverage area.”

“And I’ll hit the big rivalry game each week,” added Hartman. “We’re taking coverage to a new level with this special game day experience, covering the games, pep rallies, bands, the fans and cheerleaders.”

The Channel 2 Action News Sports Team kicks off coverage Friday, August 31st during the Sports segment of Channel 2 Action News Sports at 6 p.m.

Then, Channel 2 wraps up all the night’s action at 11:20 p.m. with the big plays from the biggest games and post-game coach and player interviews.
