The Brenau volleyball team has added a defensive specialist to the squad for this fall with the signing of Ashlea Harris from Central Carrollton High School. Harris was ranked #4 in the state for digs per game this past season, in addition to winning the team MVP her senior year. She was selected for the Hustle Award her freshman and sophomore seasons and garnered the defensive MVP her junior and senior years. She was also a 1st team All Area selection. "I am really excited about coming to Brenau. This team will be fun to be a part of and provide me with a great experience, not to mention the school will provide me with tons of knowledge and more." said Harris upon her signing. Meredith Matthews, Brenau coach feels that Ashlea will be another wonderful addition to our back row players and will work well with the other girls, citing her never say no attitude.
