BRASELTON, GA—NOVEMBER 15, 2006-MARCH 31, 2007— For the sixth consecutive year, Chateau Élan Winery & Resort’s is offering women the opportunity to play golf anytime Monday through Friday from November 15th, 2006 thru March 31th, 2007. The number of rounds played by women during this four month period has increased dramatically from approximately 1,500 rounds of golf during 2001-2002 to more than 5,000 rounds between 2005-2006. Chip Spiler, Director of Golf at Château Élan said, “We hope to inspire women of all skill levels including beginners, to become golf enthusiasts, whether it’s for companionship, business, joining your spouse on the links during vacations or just for fun on a date.”

The Chateau, and Woodlands championship courses as well as the Executive 9 hole, Par 3 walking course are all available. The Chateau, a 7,030 yard par 71 layout is 5,092 yards when played from the women’s tees. The Woodlands, a 6,735 yard, par 72 course is 4,850 yards when played from the women’s tees. The Executive, par three holes vary in length from under 100 yards to more than 200 yards.
