The Brenau softball team has added yet another outstanding pitcher with the transfer of Jesse Groves, a sophomore from Newberry College, SC. During her senior season at Buford High School, she was tabbed as a 1st team GHSA All State and Gainesville Times All Region player and Pitcher of the Year. She was also named to the Gwinnett Daily Post All County team. She holds 14 school records at Buford. In addition to her athletic honors, she was selected on the Who's Who Among American High School Students three times. Her Buford team was the Region 8AA Champions and finished 3rd in the Georgia State Championships.
