The Golden Tigers (24-17, 8-14) came away with a split against SSAC foe Reinhardt (27-17, 9-11) Sunday, winning the first game 2-1 in 8 innings and losing the nightcap 3-1. In the first game, the pitching duties were split by Missy Herren and Marisa Litster, who each went four innings. Tori Fobb (1-4), Carrie Brookshire (2-4), Litster (1-4), Katie Hulsey (1-4, RBI) and Hilyer Flynt (1-2) provided the offense. Litster pitched a complete game in the second outing and Fobb (2-3) and Colleen Sparrow (1-2) delivered hits. Next up for Brenau will be a doubleheader with Faulkner on Tuesday as they prepare for the SSAC tournament next week.
