The Brenau volleyball team came away with a second place finish at the Faulkner Invitational Tournament this weekend, winning two of the four matches. They came up short in the championship match against Spring Hill, AL, losing in four games (16-25, 28-26, 19-25 and 18-25). Junior hitter Karen Green was named to the All-Tournament team for her play over the two day event. "We were a different team this weekend because of the fact that we finished the games instead of playing not to lose. This should be a turning point for us as we get into the heart of the conferenc season," said Coach Meredith Matthews. The Tigers will host Faulkner on Monday night in a SSAC matchup.
