Reinhardt (4-2, 3-1) and Brenau (3-3, 1-1) squared off last night at the Allen Soccer Complex in a key SSAC matchup that featured great defense and the visitors came away with a 1-0 win. The only goal of the match was scored by Reinhardt at the 17:15 mark of the first half. Brenau had more shots on goal (10-9) but just couldn't find the back of the net. Senior Kelly Young (Lawrenceville, GA) and Junior Leanne Rowley (Brampton, Ontario) both played very well in anchoring the defense for the Tigers. Sophomore goalie Lisa Lesnick had eight saves. Next up for Brenau will be a road game at Montreat, NC on Saturday at 1 PM.
