The Shorter Hawks (37-9, 17-5) showed why they are one of the top teams in the nation Saturday as they shut out the Brenau Golden Tigers (23-16, 7-13) in SSAC action Saturday in Rome by scores of 6-0 and 3-0. Marisa Litster pitched a complete game in the first contest and the only hits were Carrie Brookshire (2-3) and Tori Faub (1-3). In the second game Missy Herren pitched six innings and Fobb went 1-3 from the plate.
