The Athletic Department at Brenau University has instituted a weekly award that will be selected by the coaching staff throughout the school year and the first winner is Junior soccer player Alyssa Schmucker from Cochran, GA. Schmucker helped lead the Tigers to two wins for the week by scoring four goals and one assist. In the 3-0 shutout of Bryan College at home, she scored what would be the game winner with 11 minutes left in the first half. She followed that up with a 3 goal performance against Brewton Parker last Saturday on the road. She scored the game winner with 29 minutes left in the match. Five games into the season Schmucker leads the team in scoring with five goals and one assist.
