The Brenau softball team (16-1, 4-0) continued their winning ways Wednesday in Franklin Springs as they took two from Emmanuel in a SSAC doubleheader 8-0 and 7-4. In the first game Marisa Litster pitched a no-hitter and was one out away from a perfect game, as she recorded six strikeouts. The Tigers pounded out 11 hits, including Carrie Brookshire with a 2-3, and Maggie Renfro and Caitlin Kelly with 2-4 efforts at the plate. In the second game, Missy Herren got the win as she came on in relief of Litster in the third inning and held Emmanuel scoreless while recording three strikeouts. Brenau's batters recorded 14 hits with Nicole Burt going 3-4, Brookshire and Kelly going 2-3 and Renfro and Colleen Sparrow collecting two hits in three appearances.
