The Brenau soccer team ran their season record to 5-4, winning their fourth match of the last six by shutting out Toccoa Falls at the Allen Creek Soccer complex 6-0. It was a big night for Lily Futrell as she scored three goals. Marilyn Anderson assisted on two of her scores and Ashley Tittle helped out on the other one. The other three goals were scored by Tori Futrell, Sarah Carlson and Hannah Martin. Lauren Hagin and Laura Hirst had assists. Brenau completely dominated the match with 17 shots on goal compared to one shot for Toccoa. Goalie Lisa Lesnick got the shutout with a nice save on the shot on goal, and Kelly Young was a key factor, controlling play at the defensive end. The Tigers will head to Columbia, SC on Thursday for an important SSAC matchup.
