The Brenau soccer team traveled to Montreat, NC today and came away with a 3-1 victory to run their season record to 4-3. Junior Alyssa Schmucker scored her sixth goal of the season to open the scoring for the Tigers with an assist from Marilyn Anderson. Junior striker Lily Futrell was next to score on an assist from Ashley Tittle-Colquitt. Lauren Hagin got the third goal in the first half with an assist from Leanne Rowley. Brenau outshot Montreat 21-4 in a match they controlled. Freshman Sarah Carlton came off the bench in the second half and played well. Next up for the Tigers will be a home game against nationally ranked Lee University at the Allen Creek Soccer Complex on Tuesday.
