The Lee University Flames (26-2, 18-0) showed why they are the second ranked NAIA team in the land on Saturday as they ran past Brenau (16-12, 8-10) in a SSAC conference basketball game 87-56. The Flames raced out to a 45-26 halftime buldge and were never seriously threatened in the second half. Sophomore Sarah Ledford again led the Tigers in scoring with 20 points and added seven rebounds. It is Ledford's third consecutive 20+ game. Sophomore Paige Cooper added 17 points and 5 rebounds. Next up for Brenau will be a rematch with Emmanuel next Tuesday in Franklin Springs.
