Coach Gary Bays has added another player from East Jackson Comprehensive High School with the signing of Dane Gaillard last week. Gaillard will join teammate Emma Turner on the roster of the Golden Tigers this fall. She was named to the All-Sub Region Team last season and will pursue a Nursing major at Brenau with hopes to become a Paramedic. Her parents are Tommy and Debra Gaillard. Dane was named to the Homecoming Court and voted with the Most School Spirit this year. "I'm familiar with this area and wanted to play close to home. Brenau has a great academic reputation and I want to help build the basketball program," said Gaillard at her signing. Her high school coach, Amy Larimer, said "She has worked extremely hard to get to this point and I wish her well in her college career."
