Lauren Fugel, a senior soccer player at Mill Creek HS in Hoschton, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Golden Tigers next fall. Fugel, a midfielder, most recently completed her club season with the College Experience Elite team coached by Mike Morgan. Coach Morgan describes Lauren as "a very focused and competitive player and one who works hard on the field for her teammates and is well respected by them for her non-stop work rate." For Brenau, Fugel will most likely play as an outside midfielder. "Lauren will be a great addition to our program-not only is she a steady performer with a great attitude, she also has the talent to do some special things on the field," says Coach Lochstampfor. Academically, Lauren has been a very strong student and is interested in pursuing a Nursing degree at Brenau.
