The Gainesville Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, December 1st at approximately 10:01 a.m. in the parking lot of 1301 Aviation Blvd.
The victim in this incident is identified as Jessica Pinonez, 19 years old of Gainesville. The victim reported that while traveling on Aviation Blvd her vehicle was struck in the rear by a black and primer passenger car. The victim pulled into the parking lot of 1301 Aviation Blvd and stopped. Three Hispanic males approached the victim. One of the Hispanic males produced a screw driver and robbed the victim of an undetermined amount of money. Two of the Hispanic males fled the scene in a tan sport utility vehicle and the third fled in the black and primer passenger car.
One male was described as wearing a white tee shirt, and being in his early twenties. At this time there is not a description of the other two suspects involved. The victim reported no injuries in this incident.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Gainesville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
