The Gainesville Police are investigating an armed robbery, kidnapping, and aggravated assault that occurred on Tuesday, March 4th at approximately 9:30 a.m. at a residence in the 400 block of Hollywood Circle.

The victims in this incident are identified as Ruby Arguta, 18 years old and Antonia Avita, 72 years old both of Gainesville. The victims reported that two Hispanic males entered the residence through an unlocked door. Both suspects were reported to be armed with handguns. The suspects forced both victims into a bathroom and then went through the residence stealing an undetermined amount of money and jewelry. The suspects were reported to have fled the scene in a white mini van in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported by the victims.
