The Gainesville Police Department is continuing its investigation into the armed robbery that occurred on March 12, 2008 at approximately 03:55 hours at the Waffle House on Pentee Drive. In the incident three black males entered the business and one of them brandished a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk. The suspects left the scene in a white passenger car with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspects are described as three black males in their early twenties, tall with a slender build. One of the suspects was wearing a red hooded sweat shirt. A composite picture has been completed on the suspect wearing the red hooded sweatshirt and it is attached to this release. No further description of the other suspects is available at this time.
