Open House Scheduled to Share the Possibilities on SR 365 and SR 400 Come Let Us Know What You Think!

Published Feb 24, 2008

The Georgia Department of Transportation is finishing a study of the SR 365 and SR 400 corridors in Northeast Georgia. This study will identify needs and prioritize the resulting transportation projects along both roads.

“We have gathered statistical information on the study areas and sought the input of the community along both roadways. Now we’d like to share our findings with you and get your input again before we finalize the study,” explained District Engineer Russell McMurry.

These meetings are the last stages of this study. The meetings will be an interactive, open-house style.  Presentation boards showing graphic representations of the corridors will be displayed and interactive stations which would allow meeting participants to document travel patterns and identify issue areas along the corridor. Study staff will be on hand to interact one-on-one with the public, to receive input and to answer questions.  The public is encouraged to drop in at any point during the meeting hours.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, GDOT, if requested, special assistance will be provided for those persons who are disabled.  Those persons requiring special assistance, including translation services, must send written notification at least five days prior to the public meeting to:
