Lt. Governor Casey Cagle to Host Special WDUN Radio Broadcast from Lake Lanier Focused on the Drought

Lt. Governor Casey Cagle will host a special WDUN Newstalk 550 broadcast from the shore of Lake Lanier tomorrow, Friday July 11th from 8 a.m. – 11:45a.m.  The focus of the broadcast will be the ongoing drought, our state’s water needs and how the shrinking water levels have impacted people in our state.  Cagle will interview a wide variety of guests to hear first-hand how the drought has affected businesses, real-estate, landscaping, summer water activities and more.  Confirmed guests include U.S. Senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss, House Speaker Glenn Richardson, small business owners from Gwinnett, Hall and Forsyth counties, water and environmental experts and members of the state House and Senate delegation that met with Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works), John Paul Woodley Jr. yesterday.

Where:  Lake Lanier Islands - broadcast will be near the entrance of the Beach and Waterpark.
