Register now for the 9th annual Citizens’ Police Academy sponsored by the Gainesville Police Department. You’ll get a first hand look at the day-to-day operation of the Police Department and the opportunity to ride with an officer. The ten week course begins Thursday, May 22, 7:30pm-9:30pm. After the first week, each class will be held on Tuesday with graduation on July 22.
