Brenau University Learning and Leisure Institute will be offering a Water Conservation Class on Wednesdays from 9:00am – 10:30am from June 11-July 16. Special guest speakers include Kellie Bowen of Full Bloom Nursery, Mark Fockele of Fockele Garden Company, Billy Skaggs, Hall County Extension Agent, George Winstead of MasterScapes, Scarlett Fuller, Water Conservation Specialist with the City of Gainesville and Kelly Randall, Director, Gainesville Public Utilities. Speakers will cover topics ranging from drought tolerant plants, drip irrigation, landscaping with limited water, capturing rain water for use in the landscape and the importance of Lake Lanier to Gainesville-Hall County.
