    • Bachelor of Science in Education – Mississippi College

    • Master of Education – North GA College

    • Education Specialist* – University of Georgia

    • Doctor of Philosophy* – Georgia State University

*degree concentrations in educational leadership & education policy

 

Married with three children (husband and all children are all GHS graduates)

 

 

Statement upon accepting interim appointment:

 

“Many times the most valuable experiences in life come in very unexpected ways.  The role that I will assume in our school district has the promise of being one of those experiences. 

 

In our work with children, we encourage them to take risks, to try new things even if they are difficult and to set high goals for themselves.  At this time, our children should expect the same of us.
