After we have received the lists from all the FairTax volunteers we will create a master list that we will publish in local news papers & online to educate voters on which candidates are for the FairTax and which candidates are against it...
Here are 7 steps you can take right now:
1. Find your Precinct (see below if you are not sure where you vote)
2. Get a copy of your Sample Ballet. (see county links below)
3. Call or Email the individuals listed on your Sample Ballot
4. Ask the candidate or their staff the following question:
Do you support the Fair Tax?
5. Record their answer and their contact information. Your list does not have to be complete. Do the best you can do. Here is an example:
If you live in Gainesville Precinct I and are Republican:
Saxby Chamblis, Yes, www.saxby.org
Rick Collum, No Answer, Contact Info Unknown
H. Doug Everett, No Answer, Contact Info Unknown
6. Email your list to Sheila “Stella” Early at stella4fairtax@gmail.com by 7/8/2008.
7. Get excited that you’ve done something tangible to make the FairTax a reality.
