Coach Gabby Matthews has announced that Lucianne Kimura will be joining the Brenau swim team for next season after agreeing to transfer from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Sao Paulo Brazil. Kimura is a native Brazilian and her dream has always been to come to the United States to study and swim. She has been training at the Soraggi Sports School in Brazil for the past year where she works with former Brazilian national swim coach Fernando Soraggi. Coach Matthews said, "This is the first Brazilian and international student I have recruited to Brenau and I am very excited and proud of Lucianne. She is a hard worker, and I am sure she will be an excellent addition to our program."
