Hall County Parks and Leisure Services has planned fun, low-cost programs to make the holidays merrier for kids and easier on the whole family. We’ve got creative gift solutions, a place for kids to play while Mom and Dad shop, and a relaxing post-holiday breakfast for grandparents.
Paint your own holiday ceramics
Personalize holiday gifts or even some holiday decorations for yourself during two fun-filled afternoons of holiday ceramics painting, from 3 to 7 p.m. Dec. 11 and 12. Choose from ornaments, snowmen, Santas and more. Pieces are priced individually and range from $2 to $5. Location: Hall County Parks and Leisure Services, 1086 Rainey St., Gainesville. Contact: Katie, 770-535-8280.
Parents’ Night Out
Have a night out or get that last-minute holiday shopping done, and we will watch your kids from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 19. Hall County Parks and Leisure staff will play games, make crafts, and eat pizza with your kids. Cost is $8 per child. Please register by Dec. 17. If you miss this one, another Parents’ Night Out is scheduled for Jan. 16. Location: Hall County Parks and Leisure Services, 1086 Rainey St., Gainesville. Contact: Katie, 770-535-8280.
