Gwinnett Tech Photography Students Present Portfolio Show

The 2008 graduates of Gwinnett Technical College's Commercial Photography program will display their work in a portfolio presentation, starting with an opening celebration from 7 – 9 pm, on Sept. 6, at ART Station in Stone Mountain.

The portfolio presentation includes portrait, still life, photo journalism, landscape and fine art projects from each student.  The show will continue at ART Station through Nov. 1, and will then move to the Gwinnett Tech Media Gallery, beginning on Nov. 6.          

"This show is the culmination of two years of hard work for the graduating seniors from Gwinnett Tech," said Kim Harkins, commercial photography program director, Gwinnett Tech. "The show will highlight their various and unique images."

Gwinnett Tech offers an associate in applied science degree in commercial photography, which includes a specialization in digital imaging and new media design. The program, which can be completed in two years, provides a rich multi-disciplinary environment for digital and traditional media instruction, research, and practice.
