Statement upon accepting interim appointment:

“Many times the most valuable experiences in life come in very unexpected ways.  The role that I will assume in our school district has the promise of being one of those experiences. 

In our work with children, we encourage them to take risks, to try new things even if they are difficult and to set high goals for themselves.  At this time, our children should expect the same of us.

We have the opportunity to demonstrate to them that a positive attitude, confidence, hard work and helping others are the essentials to realizing our goals and dreams.
