AN IDEAL HUSBAND (February 13-24, 2007)
Brenau's Hosch Theatre
The brilliant wit of Oscar Wilde balances the melodramatic suspense of a political thriller with the snappy repartee of the best in romantic comedies. In what many consider his finest play, obsessions of money, marriage and career swirl in the intoxicating decadence of late nineteenth century London. Love and ambition, friendship and betrayal collide in this story of unmistakable contemporary relevance.
By Oscar Wilde. Run time is 2 hours 15 minutes.
Tickets: Adults $16-$18; seniors $14-$16; students/children $10-$12. Preview, Monday, February 12, 7:30pm: All tickets $8 general admission(preview event only).
A stage tour is offered for January 30, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. This free tour offers a backstage look at the artistic process and talents used to take audiences back to Edwardian London. Light refreshments offered following the tour. Attendees are also welcome to stay and watch the evening rehearsal.
