SunTrust Lunch on Broad Entertains All Summer Long

It may be hot outside, but that won’t stop Atlantans from enjoying fresh air, a break from the workday and a free concert every Friday this summer at SunTrust Lunch on Broad. This Friday July 18, 2008 from noon - 1:30 p.m., SunTrust Lunch on Broad welcomes the soulful sounds of Days Ahead on Broad Street in Downtown Atlanta.

The SunTrust Lunch on Broad concert series transforms Broad Street into an outdoor café complete with free, live music every Friday afternoon from May to September began its seventh season on May 2. Downtown employees, students, residents and visitors will gather to kick back, relax, and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of a full-scale street festival that would make anyone want to indulge in a long lunch break. ABOUT SUNTRUST LUNCH ON BROAD
SunTrust Lunch on Broad takes place in Downtown Atlanta’s historic Fairlie-Poplar District between Walton and Luckie streets every Friday from May through September from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tables and chairs are brought out to fill the streets and patrons are encouraged to purchase lunch from one of the many nearby restaurants or bring their own. Produced by Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, the sponsors that are working together to make SunTrust Lunch on Broad a summer success are: SunTrust, DUO Condominiums, Honda Generators, KISS 104.1 and 97.1 The River.

ABOUT CENTRAL ATLANTA PROGRESS
