he Lighting of Macy's Great Tree kicks off the holiday season with a star-studded celebration! Live coverage of this magical night on WSB-TV will be hosted by Channel 2's Monica Pearson and David Chandley.
Fresh off of the CMA’s in Nashville, country music sensation “Big & Rich” will rock the stage at Lenox Square and the Grammy-winning a cappella group “Take 6” will belt out holiday favorites in their smooth harmony.
Golden-globe nominee Emmy Rossum and rising new star Katie Lawhorne are also in the line-up. The Macy's All-Star Holiday Choir will put everyone in the holiday spirit, while dancers from the ABC hit show "Dancing with the Stars" will get the crowd on their feet!
Entertainment Tonight's Jann Carl joins the team this year as a special guest host, delivering live interviews backstage with the celebrities.
The biggest star of the evening is the Great Tree itself! This year's selection stands 75 feet tall and is decorated with 1,200 basketball-sized ornaments.
