Annual Halloween Bash Featuring City’s Most Celebrated Costume Contest to be held Oct. 24 at The Foundry at Puritan Mill

Published Oct 21, 2008

Expect a few "skeletons in the closet" to shake, rattle and roll when one of Atlanta's trendiest venues becomes home to the city's signature Halloween party for adults.

Jerusalem House's Halloween Bash ‘08, Skeletons in the Closet, is expected to draw more than 500 partygoers – many of them decked out in extravagant costumes – for Atlanta’s premier Halloween celebration Friday, October 24, 2008 at The Foundry at Puritan Mill in Midtown.

Following last year’s runway costume showcase, the Bash will feature a spectacular live costume contest with the chance for costumed partygoers to strut their stuff for a panel of celebrity judges and win prize packages.

"After an intense political season, I know everyone is going to be curious if there are any skeletons left in anyone's closet - but we know the Jerusalem House Halloween Bash will provide more stunners than ever," said Charles Mayfield, event chair for the party. "From the great locale to the outrageous costume contest, we're really going to show people how a grassroots effort can pay off for the Jerusalem House residents."

The event also features food by Dennis Dean Catering, premium beverages, music, dancing, a raffle and lots of surprises. The party is the signature special event fundraiser for AIDS housing charity Jerusalem House.

The event will be held from 8:00 pm to midnight at The Foundry at Puritan Mills, 916 Lowery Boulevard, Atlanta. Patron tickets are $100 for general admission and $125 for VIP admission; VIP packages including additional benefits are available for $350. Tickets can be purchased by calling (404) 350-0145 or judy@jerusalemhouse.org.
