Directions: From I-75 take Exit 260 ( Windy Hill Road) and go west. Go approximately five miles until Windy Hill Road dead ends and turn left on Austell Road. Turn right on Callaway Road. Jim R. Miller Park is on the right.



OTHER INFORMATION:

As the largest fair in metro Atlanta, the North Georgia State Fair attracts nearly 300,000 people every year from North Georgia and neighboring states. The North Georgia State Fair features flower shows, blue ribbon competitions, farm animals, local square dancers and singers, fair foods, free attractions and shows and the Great James H. Drew Exposition – one of the largest carnival midways in the U.S.

Free Concerts: A covered arena guarantees concerts rain or shine, including appearances by great country and contemporary Christian artists. Headlining the free Concert Series this year are: Tracy Byrd on Friday, September 22 at 8 p.m.; Mark Wills on Saturday, September 23 at 8 p.m.; Rodney Atkins with Daniel Peck on Wednesday, September 27 at 8 p.m.; The Charlie Daniels Band on Thursday, September 28 at 8 p.m.; Jars of Clay on Friday, September 29 at 8 p.m.; Josh Turner on Saturday, September 30 at 8 p.m. – more to be confirmed.

New for 2006: New Free Shows include: Keith King BMX Bike Stunt Show, Robinson’s Pig Paddling Porkers and The Walking Treeman.

Attractions: Back again this year: Extreme Canines Stunt Dog Show, Oscar the Robot, The Human Cannonball, Brian Ruth the Chainsaw Master and Frisco Brothers Petting Zoo and Pony Rides.

Admission:

  • $5 adults, $2 students ages 7-18, free for children 6 and under.
  • Ride tickets are $20 for 24 tickets and $50 for 64 tickets. Parking $2.
  • $15 Pay-One-Price Ride Specials – includes unlimited rides on the following dates only: 9/21, 9/26 & 9/27.
