The Booth Western Art Museum proudly announces the winners of the 2008 Georgia Youth Cowboy Poetry Contest:
Grades 5 & 6:
1st Place - Joseph Nease, The Cattle Drive
2nd Place - Lauren Seymour, Storm
3rd Place - Victoria Staley, My Horse and Me
Grades 7 & 8:
1st Place - Maria Cabanas, Butterfly Dance
2nd Place - Ben Vagase, True Self
3rd Place - Mallory Fleming, Landscapes of the West
Grades 9 - 12:
1st Place - Kayla Fraizer, Tea Cup for Tin
2nd Place - Rachel Potter, Beyond the Gate
Winners were announced on Saturday, April 19, during the Youth Cowboy Poetry Contest Finals at the Booth Western Art Museum.
