BACKGROUND ON PROJECT PLAYHOUSE:
Project Playhouse is one of two signature fundraisers for HomeAid Atlanta, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working in partnership with the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. HomeAid Atlanta is a local chapter of HomeAid, the nation's largest provider of transitional housing for the temporarily homeless. The HomeAid mission is to build dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives. This is accomplished through the donation of construction services and materials from members of the home building industry. Through projects completed and in development, HomeAid Atlanta will have preserved/added 272 shelter beds throughout metro Atlanta since 2001.
