It’s time once again for the much-anticipated Highland Tap annual golf tournament.The Handley Open will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, to benefit PAWS Atlanta, a no-kill Pet Adoption Center.
The tournament, or daylong party, will be held at Orchard Hills Golf Club and is sponsored by Samuel Adams and Highland Tap. Chip Ney says, “Be sure and make your reservation early, as this event sells out each year. Everybody is welcome regardless of skill level.”
Fees are: $125 per person or $450 per foursome and include:
Commemorative gift pack, greens fee, carts, range balls, bag lunch, award ceremonies, Prime Rib buffet, raffle and silent auction for prizes, and the bus ride to and from the course.
A Lauderdale format is in place and entries are due no later than Sept. 25. Registration begins at Highland Tap at 8:00 am accompanied by Bloody Mary’s.Bus leaves at 9:30 am sharp and shotgun start kicks off at 11:00 am.
Shoot for a Hole-in-One on #4 and win $10,000 cash plus $10,000 for the charity.
