Published Mar 10, 2008

The Providence Group is pleased to announce the grand opening of the covered bridge at Woodbridge Crossing in Smyrna. To commemorate the opening of the bridge which is located in the Historic Concord Covered Bridge Area of Smyrna and crosses Nickajack Creek, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 25 with special guests, Mayor Max Bacon, City Council Representative Pete Wood and Harold Smith with the Smyrna Historical Society. Woodbridge Crossing is an upscale community of single-family courtyard and garden homes priced from the high $300’s to $500’s.

“Woodbridge Crossing is nestled quietly in the Concord Covered Bridge Historic Area of Smyrna which is full of rich Southern history and beautiful surroundings,” said Ginny Bryant, Director of Marketing for The Providence Group. “We are excited about the completion of the beautiful covered bridge within the community and hope that homeowners will enjoy both its visual appeal and its usefulness.”

The ribbon cutting will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a welcoming speech by Warren Jolly of The Providence Group. Special guests will also say a few words and then all those in attendance will be invited to enjoy light snacks and refreshments in the Woodbridge Crossing clubhouse.

The homes at Woodbridge Crossing range in size from 2,500 to 3,500 square feet, and offer elegant exteriors featuring traditional brick, siding and stone which blend with the carriage-style garage doors. In addition, all homes incorporate a variety of interior designer features, such as gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, tile backsplashes, custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances including double ovens; large master suites with luxurious baths including garden tubs and walk-in showers; vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, detailed trim and eight-foot doors throughout the main levels; and wrought-iron stair balusters.

Homeowners at Woodbridge Crossing’s gated community also enjoy an array of fabulous amenities including a swimming pool, clubhouse with full kitchen, outdoor seating area, outdoor fireplace, and the beautiful York covered bridge over Nickajack Creek. In addition, there are sidewalks on both sides of the street and oak and maple trees planted in each front yard creating a very attractive streetscape. Leaving more time to enjoy life and all the excitement that surrounds the community, landscape maintenance will be provided by the Homeowners Association.
