FOX 5 Atlanta Wins TV Station of the Year... AGAIN!

For the fifth time in six years, the Georgia Association of Broadcasters awarded FOX 5 Atlanta with the distinguished GABBY Award for “TV Station of the Year.” With this exciting honor, FOX 5 continues to maintain its position as “The Most Powerful Name in Local News!

Considering everything from quality news coverage to community events, the Georgia Association of Broadcasters determined that FOX 5 deserved recognition for its wide-ranging efforts to provide exceptional service to the metro-Atlanta broadcast area. Such efforts include:

  • FOX 5 News, providing over 50 hours of local news every week through shows like FOX 5 News at 10pm, Atlanta’s #1 Late News!
  • Good Day Atlanta, Atlanta’s only all-local, all-live morning show, weekdays from 7-9am.
  • Get Involved, a station initiative to better the community, environment, and workplace through direct employee involvement and volunteerism.

The Georgia Association of Broadcasters presents the GABBY Awards annually to promote excellence in broadcasting. The GABBY Awards were created over 40 years ago to honor excellence, innovation, and creativity among over 400 Georgia radio and television member stations.
