It’s the stuff that dreams are made of: two minutes to grab as many pair of free shoes as you can hold. That’s what Lisa Hewitt of Cumming did recently as part of Rack Room Shoes’ Grand Opening Celebration for the new store located at 410 Peachtree Parkway in the Avenues @ Forsyth Shopping Center. 

Hewitt won the spree by entering a drawing in mid-July.   After her shopping extravaganza she walked away with 21pair of shoes including Nike, Asics and New Balance as well as a Hannah Montana hand bag, totaling over $700.

How did she get so many shoes? “My husband and I  went to the store a couple times before the spree to pick out what shoes we wanted and find the best route, said Hewitt.  “My husband came up with a great idea.  That morning we placed post-it notes on the ones I was going to grab so they stood out as I ran around the store.” Lisa was joined at the store by her husband, three children, mother in law and a few friends.
