The Georgia Department of Labor is sponsoring a job fair and career exposition for northeast Georgia employers, laid off workers at the Fruit of the Loom's Rabun county apparel plant and other job seekers State Labor Commisioner Michael Thurmond said earlier today. The event cosponsor, Rabun County Elementary School, located at 115 East Boggs Mountain Road in Tiger, will be the location of the career expo and job fair on Wedensday 12 July from 1-5 PM. About 75 employers will be featured to fill a variety of job openings.
