Gainesville Bank and Trust recently announced that Brandy Zimmerman Kastner has been promoted to Banking Officer in the Bank's Corporate Division. The announcement was made by Sid Chandler, Senior Vice President and Manager of Corporate Banking.
Brandy, a 2003 graduate of North Georgia College and State University, joined the bank in May 1999. She has worked in the Real Estate/Corporate Division for the past two years. Brandy was graduated with a BBA in Finance. She has also completed Omega Lending courses in Financial Accounting for Lenders and Fundamentals of Business Lending.
She resides in Gainesville with her husband, Nick.
Berenice Garcia Meehan has been promoted to Bank Officer. This announcement was made by Kurt Hansen, Senior Vice President and Retail Banking Manager at Gainesville Bank & Trust (GB&T).
Berenice joined GB&T in April 1999 as a teller and currently works as Assistant Branch Manager at the bank’s Dawsonville Highway Office, where she is responsible for managing daily branch operations, including audit functions. She is a graduate of Verdugo Hills High School in Tujunga, California and is currently attending Gainesville State College, working on a degree in Business Administration. She is active in the community by currently serving as Secretary of Gainesville Prevent Child Abuse and serveing on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Berenice lives in Dahlonega with her husband, Thomas.
