Women's College gears up for Winter Weekend

"It's never too early to start preparations," said Christina White, Director of Women's College Admissions. "Winter Weekend is a very popular event that has drawn large numbers of prospective students and family members."

Winter Weekend is a traditional overnight visitation filled with campus-wide events and academic showcases. Beginning on Saturday, January 27, current students and faculty members will introduce prospective students to Brenau's Culture of Success. This is an opportunity to spend the night with current students in a residence hall or sorority house and experience real college life at Brenau.

"On past Winter Weekends, we've seen every kind of weather, from sunny and mild to an ice storm that slowed traffic to a crawl. Amazingly, people came to visit with us anyway. This shows how sincere our students are when it comes to their college education, and how carefully they check us out."

Interested high school seniors can use the link at right to get more detailed information, and to sign up online a little later. "Even though the holidays are still between us and Winter Weekend, we're already very excited about it," said White. "There are a lot of new program items, and we were fortunate to hire actual Brenau Women's College graduates as admissions counselors. Winter Weekend 2007 is going to be an exciting showcase for the Women's College at Brenau University."
