Lanier Hospitality, a hotel management company for several North Georgia properties, announced that the redesigned 122-room Lanier Centre Hotel-Gainesville opens for business today as the Holiday Inn Lanier Centre Hotel.
“The Holiday Inn Lanier Centre Hotel offers travelers a relaxing lodging experience with personalized services,” said Beth Truelove, director of sales and marketing. “This property has an outstanding downtown location for both business and leisure travelers, with all of the conveniences and amenities people have come to expect from Holiday Inns.”
The hotel, which first opened as the Lanier Centre Ramada, was subsequently converted into a Best Western property. As the hotel becomes the Holiday Inn Lanier Centre, it will maintain its modern style and timeless exterior. Additionally, the $1.5 million redesign consists of a
contemporary look in both the hotel’s interior architectural design and room décor and technology.
The Holiday Inn is situated in downtown Gainesville along the two largest thoroughfares of Jesse Jewell and EE Butler Parkways near several businesses including Regions Bank, Brenau University and Northeast Georgia Medical Center. It also is in close proximity to tourist destinations like the Northeast Georgia History Center, Clarks Bridge Rowing Venue and, just steps from the unique shops and dining of Downtown Gainesville.
